The world is full of exciting places and treasures. Look around and find that special “something” that inspires you and bring it into your home. A photograph, an old wooden window or a book. I find something beautiful in every place I visit. I love traveling because it exposes me to so many unique and different experiences. How can someone NOT be inspired when traveling through Europe or watching a gorgeous sunset, driving through upstate New York in the fall or sailing the vast blue sea? Now, you can’t bring all of these things into your home, but you sure can be inspired to capture your experience(s) and keep your beautiful memories close to home. I say, get out and travel…see the world!

Ireland Trip- Unbelievably lush and beautiful. Here an old red barn door was the perfect backdrop to snap a photo I’ll treasure, forever. It also reminds me of the red barn armoire my father built for our son’s nursery. This ole beat up red door inspired a family heirloom!

New York in the fall…breathtaking. Victorian Home with architectural details to die for. My inspiration to build and decorate a doll house for my niece.

Venice, Italy! What can I say expect AMAZING! The fact you can look around and see buildings that are more than 500 years old AND still standing is incredible. Italy brings out the artist in everyone.

Paris, France. If you really want to see dramatic and stylish buildings on every single block, take a trip to Paris. The city is incredibly beautiful by day and by night. You walk away from structures and ask, “how did they do that?”
