5 Tips & Tricks For Fall Decor
Get ready for the Fall with MFD! We're diving into our tips and tricks for all things Fall so you can bring these designs to your home. We recently decorated Coach Josh McDaniels' home in Las Vegas for his family to gather at & they loved the coziness and overall look of our creation. Multifunctional Place Mats
Place mats are a great alternative to decor in your home. You can use these as part of your dining room look, or you can get creative and utilize them for kitchen backdrops, frames, and much more. We bought these adorable wicker pumpkin place mats and instead of using them on our clients' dining table we decided to place them throughout the kitchen and main living room which brought in another texture to the space.
Matching Wreaths
Wreaths are always a good idea for your Fall decor. We love using two matching wreaths to bring symmetry and a big effect for entryways. These grand double doors were perfect for matching wreaths and be sure to buy ones without hooks so you can easily use Command Strips as an adhesive instead of using hooks in your walls/doors.
Entryway Planters
DIY planters are the way to go this season. These are so much fun to create and truly make an impact on any entrance. We took these empty planters and placed styrofoam in the center and then placed long stem branches to make the bouquet. Cover the styrofoam centers with wooden planter fillers (as seen in the photos above) and decorate the edges with seasonal garland. Try out DIY planters for your next Fall decor and watch guests enter in awe by your creative design!
Keep The Dishes Simple
If you're planning to dine as a family for the holidays, then a statement dining room display is a must. Keep your color palette in the centerpiece, placemats, and tree accessories while keeping your dishes simple and white. If you keep your dishes simple and clean then this leaves ample room for your creativity to shine through!
Oranges & Yellows
This custom tree design in the dining room of the McDaniels' home was so much fun and we love how it incorporates Fall elements to tie in the whole room. We used yellows & oranges in the floral displays while keeping more simple whites & beiges in the pumpkin accessories and decorative ribbon. Try finding an automatic tree with lights as well to make life easier when setting up decor in just an afternoon!
We love bringing happiness to our clients through our festive designs and we hope you bring these tips and tricks into your home decor this season. You can find more holiday projects on our Instagram and various social media platforms. Happy holidays from MFD!
