Setting The Table: For The Red, White, and Blue

June 27, 2025
MFD

It's nearly that time of year where we celebrate our country's birthday and get together with our closest friends & family. Time to dish out your best glassware, polish off those serving platters, and get ready for a bunch of fun this upcoming Fourth of July weekend! Read more below for some of our latest design tips when it comes to setting the table.

Waving The Flag

MFD

We love this simple, yet elegant table scape by Alicia Wood Lifestyle and the subtle nod to patriotism. You can display a physical flag amongst your florals in vases or even mix and match patterns in your chargers and linens to create a Stars and Stripes look. This table scape is feeling fresh, airy, and oh so American and what a great way for friends and family to enjoy!

Non Traditional Elements

MFD

Sometimes the best way to incorporate Fourth of July elements is by bringing in a new twist to the traditional color schemes and decor. We love this Kim Seybert table scape featuring unique napkin ties and simple white, neutral linens and florals in the background. By keeping the overall look classic and clean, these subtle touches of red popped even more and brought a fun spark to the table.

Fruits From The Garden

MFD

We love this idea of incorporating fresh fruit from the garden or local farmer's market into tabelscapes this season. This inspiration from Courtney Warren Home is great for a more casual vibe this Fourth of July and we love the baskets of cherries as party favors. You can also pluck fresh florals and greenery around your home and place them in mixed matched vases for striking centerpieces, too.

We hope you all have a safe and wonderful upcoming Fourth of July weekend!
