Turtle Paradise
Hawaii is amazing for taking in nature and getting out of your comfort zone. While we were in Maui, we took the opportunity to snorkel in the Pacific and boy what a time we had! From sea turtles to schools of fish to even monk seals, we saw it all. In Maui, opt for a half day boat tour complete with snorkel gear, lunch, drinks, and complimentary professional underwater photos that will surely make for an unforgettable day. We loved our Viator tour that left from Ma'alaea Harbor and stoped at Turtle Bay & Molokini Crater. Our day was spectacular and we highly recommend going out to sea during your trip to Maui.

Eat and Repeat

Maui is fantastic for foodies! In the town of Kihei, you can find fantastic restaurants ranging from seafood to pizza and there's even the South Maui Gardens that offer nearly 20 food trucks with local performances from artists and dancers from the island. This stretch on the island is great for casual dining and offers gorgeous views of the sunset each night. Some of our favorite places on the island included: Paia Fish Market, MonkeyPod, Burger Boys, and Black Rock Pizza. We loved enjoying the beaches all day while still making Happy Hour for great food and even better vibes. Be sure to visit the local Kihei gem, Reef's Real Fruit Ice Cream, for some of the freshest ice cream you'll ever have and don't miss out on the local coconut water, too. You can find some of the best coconut water and coconut meat from a local fruit stand on your journey to Hana!
Explore The Towns

We loved exploring the various town on Maui for their casual environment, friendly people, and beautiful local shops. In Wailea, we loved walking the beach front and seeing the luxurious water-front hotels with their stunning landscapes and scenic views. In Kaanapali, we loved Black Rock Beach for the snorkeling and pristine beaches and the bluest water on the island. In Paia, the town was colorful and charming and there were so many local artist shops that we could have spent days wondering in and out. We didn't explore much of the Hana Highway, but we did manage to hike the Twin Falls Hike which is a few miles into the highway and it was amazing! This is a family-friendly hike and you can even swim out to to the waterfalls and dive under. We would highly recommend this hike for all ages. On our last day, we hiked the Waihee Ridge Trail which felt like bring above the clouds. Be sure to wear your best hiking shoes for this one and enjoy various waterfalls out in the distance!

There are so many activities and areas to explore in Maui and this was just the tip of the iceberg for our amazing trip! We loved getting to know the area more and we would definitely travel back to such an unforgettable place. Be sure to put Maui on your bucket list if you haven't gone already!
